Died 13th April 2024

The family of the late Jimmy Mc Gale would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all of those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Jimmy was a widely respected gentleman, devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, brother-in-law,uncle and friend. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards,sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, and to those who left messages online or via social media. Thank you to everyone who called at Jay Maguire,s Funeral home, helped, brought food and to those who lined the funeral route or joined us at the Funeral Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends (Nuala) who helped us in so many ways throughout this difficult time.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual guidance and support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We would to convey our appreciation also to Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, (Donna and Shane)especially our readers (Jason and Julie) and our singer James Mc Shane for the beautiful singing and music he provided.

Thank you to Jay Maguire Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Jay and his team done everything to such a high standard and took care of every little detail.

Thank you to all the ladies in St Patrick’s hall for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral. Also like to thank all the medical professionals that came in contact with dad, Dromore Surgery, Renal Clinic,ICU everyone who was involved in dads care and his final days, impossible to thank everyone individually,please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our family,s deepest gratitude. Jimmy is loved and missed beyond words every day. May his kind and generous soul be granted eternal rest and peace.

Jimmy’s month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog,s Church, Dromore on Sunday 12th May at 10:00am.
