The death has occurred of:
Fay McVEIGH
The family of the late Fay McVeigh have requested this acknowledgement is posted in gratitude and appreciation.
Fay's daughters, sons, grandchildren and entire family circle wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout mummy's life.
To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated. We thank also the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake and to those who offered floral tributes. We thank also those who made and served tea to the wake attendees over the busy 3 nights.
Mummy was blessed with good health throughout her life but as it began to fail she was supported greatly by the Staff of Willowbank surgery and the staff of Craigavon hospital, in particular Ward 1 North who showed compassionate care in mummy's end of life journey
Words seem inadequate to convey our gratitude to all the priests and religious who tended to Mummy's spiritual health over her lifetime and especially the priests of Keady parish and to Fr Greg Carvill of CillChluana parish for his pastoral care of us and for celebrating a very personal and fitting funeral mass. We thanks also Catherine and Dermot for providing the music which enhanced the mass and to Noel and Patricia for preparing the church.
Finally we thank Bridget Mone and team from Mone Funeral Directors for the complete and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements and to Granemore Hall for the use of their facility for the post burial refreshments kindly provided and served by Mary B Mone and staff.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Fay's month mind mass will be held in St Mary's Church Granemore on Tuesday 14th May 2024 @ 7:30pm ... the day Fay would have celebrated her 90th birthday
