The death has occurred of:
Brendan McDAID
The family of the late Brendan McDaid, wish to thank all those who have sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to all who attended the wake, sent flowers, mass and sympathy cards and supported us during the funeral.
Our sincere appreciation to our extended family, friends and neighbours who visited and assisted during the wake and to all those who generously provided refreshments.
Many thanks to relatives and long-term friends of Brendan who travelled from England to be with us.
Thanks also to the nursing staff and all at Owen Mor care home who cared for Brendan during his time there. Also, to those special friends, George, and Theresa, who visited him regularly. This meant so much to Brendan and the family.
A special word of thanks to Fr. McFaul for the lovely ceremony which expressed Brendans values and celebrated his Irish language and love of music so well.
Special thanks to Michelle Conaghan and Shauna Watt for the beautiful singing. Also, to Damien Brown for his lovely music at the graveside.
Finally, our sincere gratitude to Kieran and the staff at W.J. O’Brien & Son Funeral directors, Eglinton for their exceptional care, support, and dignified way they carried out Brendan’s funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.
